Release Notes

This is an important maintenance release for [XTR] MultiAccount Detector. We have made database structure improvements to increase the accuracy of browser fingerprint matching and resolved an installation error that some of our users encountered during fresh installs. To completely eliminate the risk of false-positive matches, we highly recommend all customers upgrade to this release.

  • Fix: Resolved the "Batch install error: Please enter a value using 25 characters or fewer" issue during fresh installations, which was caused by exceeding the XenForo core limits in the xf_cron_entry table.
  • Enhancement / Fix: Increased the character limit of the fingerprint column from 32 to 64 in both xf_xentr_mad_report_log and xf_xentr_mad_device_log tables. Dual-layer (hardware + browser) fingerprint hashes can exceed previous lengths, and this enhancement definitively prevents false-positive user matches caused by silently truncated long fingerprints in the database.
