Tested this add-on here on this site . makes a long story who should show up as profile post (not working)
Why I need to add an image through some web image service ? (( Better if I could upload directly from mobile or computer ))
If am out in the field and want quick way to share a story I need to fiddle with the images . sorry, don't make sense?

The idea of the add-on is really great but need some improvements to make it fully working the way social life is today, picture should have a button to the real story and not only show the title , makes it very confusing in my opinion. maybe some of the features I mention is there already but my first try I was not really happy the way it worked

To be clear, I accept all the feedback you have provided and the issues mentioned in discussion forums. The current add-on uses zuck.js as its library. While this provides certain advantages, it also brings some disadvantages. Therefore, extensive modifications in this add-on can sometimes cause issues.

We are working on a new add-on that uses a completely custom library. We hope you will like the newly developed add-on. The new add-on will be released as [XTR] Community Stories, and development is ongoing.

This new add-on will include some new features, such as:

• Setting community stories duration (e.g., automatic deletion after 24 hours),
• Supporting external and internal media URLs, with a whitelist option to specify trusted sites,
• Defining maximum file sizes separately (for photo/video),
• Customizing allowed file extensions (png, jpg, mp4, etc.),
• Supporting adding URLs to story titles and blocking specific characters/words in titles with advanced control options.

Bunun sebebi, XenForo ’nun 2.3 ile birlikte getirdiği yeni çekirdek yapılar ve performans iyileştirmeleri sayesinde eklentinin en verimli ve stabil şekilde çalışabilmesi için geliştirmeyi yalnızca bu sürüme odaklanmamız gerektiğini düşünmemizdir. Dolayısıyla geriye dönük uyumluluk süreçlerine girmek, hem geliştirme hem de destek aşamasında hatırı sayılır ek iş yükü oluşturacaktır.

URL ile yüklenenlere link eklenmez ancak foruma yüklenen videolar ve görseller için link eklenebilir gibi bir şekilde ayarlanabilir.

Ben forumumda premium üyeliklere link ekleme izini veriyorum aynı şekilde video ve görsel yükleme izini ekleyebilirsiniz üye grupları için. Yanına yüklenebilecek görsel ve video maksimum boyut ayarı olursa harika olur.

So this is going to be a completely new addon? I've got 100s of member stories in "passive" mode, will these effectively be lost?

The new addon looks good, though. Member Stories has been one of our most popular add-ons.

Yes, this will be a completely new addon. There won’t be a migration tool for the existing Member Stories addon, so the current content won’t transfer automatically into the new system.

That said, we’re glad to hear Member Stories has been so popular on your site. The new addon will be built on a modern structure with enhanced features.
